Position Overview

Fiducial is looking for an IT Client Services Engineer to support their growing cloud technology client base. The successful candidate will have solid server-side network and system administration skills and a strong commitment to the highest quality of client support.  

 

Desired Skills/ Experience/Attributes

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support role including phone support
  • 3+ years of experience in network or system engineering and administration
  • Introductive level experience and understanding of VMware (vSphere + VDI View / Horizon)
  • Good understanding and experience with Systems: Windows Server; Linux; MS Exchange; Backup software
  • Solid understanding and experience with Networks: WAN/LAN TCP/IP; BGP; Security; VOIP
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Dedicated and hard working with a drive to learn and succeed
  • The ability to work within deadlines
  • Good customer service skills with the ability to work with customers face-to-face and over the telephone
  • Strong Team player with a willingness to support colleagues to get the job done
  • Ability to provide periodic “on-call” client support
  • Willing to train bright college graduate
  • Willing to travel some as required for the job

 

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field preferred
  • VMware VCP certification preferred
  • Cisco CCNA certifications preferred
  • Microsoft certifications preferred
