 Position Overview

FFDA is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide support to our branch office in Springfield, IL

This is a great opportunity for an Administrative Assistant with at least 2 years experience, a background in bookkeeping, accounting, and/or taxes a plus. Responsibilities include but are not be limited to: printing and processing of tax returns, completion of various daily tasks requiring computer literary, data entry, cleint relations & other general office tasks.  This position will be working in our Tax department and will require strong attention to detail as well as the ability to research information and timely communication with both internal staff as well as direct client contact. 

 Desired Skills/ Experience/Attributes

  • 1-2 years administrative experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office to include Excel and Word.
  • Interest in Accounting/Tax is helpful.
  • Ensure proper document retention and utilization of offsite storage
  • Monitor & maintain department supplies including binding materials
  • Maintain Department calendar & job schedule
